Welcome to Unbound, an app developed by A&B Business. Unbound is designed to support you through your healing journey with features such as a No Contact counter, a Detox tracker, daily check-ins, journaling tools, and an AI-powered advice chat (collectively, the “Services”).

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Unbound, including our app, website, and other tools.
By accessing or using Unbound, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Unbound.

Acknowledgment

This End-User License Agreement (EULA) is between you and A&B Business.
A&B Business is solely responsible for the content, maintenance, and support of the app, as well as for all claims related to the app.
Apple has no obligations under this EULA.

You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon acceptance of the Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them as a third-party beneficiary.

Scope of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Unbound for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s Usage Rules. This license does not grant ownership of Unbound or any related intellectual property.

Maintenance and Support

A&B Business is solely responsible for maintaining and supporting Unbound.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

Disclaimer on AI Advice and Mental Health

The insights, feedback, and conversations provided by Unbound — including the AI-powered advice chat — are strictly for informational, educational, and supportive purposes.

Unbound is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
It is not designed to handle crisis situations. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, please call your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.

The AI algorithms used in Unbound generate responses based on patterns and data, but they do not possess human understanding or professional qualifications.
Therefore:

• AI responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate for your specific situation.
• You should not rely on the app for critical life decisions.
• A&B Business does not guarantee any specific healing or recovery outcome.

A&B Business is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any advice or insights generated by Unbound. Any actions you take are at your own risk.

Warranty Disclaimer

If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may contact Apple, which may refund the purchase price (if applicable). Apple has no further warranty obligations.

THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT, ARE OFFERED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
A&B Business DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We make no guarantee that the app will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis.

Product Claims

A&B Business is responsible for addressing any claims by you or third parties relating to Unbound or your use of the app, including:

• product liability claims
• claims that the app does not meet legal or regulatory standards
• consumer protection or similar claims

Intellectual Property Rights

Unbound provides tools for journaling and self-reflection.
You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g., journal entries). However, by using the AI features, you grant us a license to process your inputs to provide the service.

If a third party claims that the Unbound app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, A&B Business — not Apple — is responsible for managing, defending, and resolving such claims.

Legal Compliance

By using Unbound, you confirm that:

• you are not located in a country under U.S. embargo
• you are not listed on any U.S. Government restricted-party list
• you comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you via the app or other communication methods.
Continued use of Unbound after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Age and Legal Capacity

To use Unbound, you must:

• be at least 13 years old, or older if required in your country
• have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements
• if under 18, use Unbound only with consent and supervision of a parent/guardian

Your Responsibility for Your Account

If an account is required, you are responsible for all activity under your Unbound account.
Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized access.
We may restrict or terminate accounts that violate the Terms.

Using Unbound Responsibly

You agree to use Unbound only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Prohibited actions include:

• reverse-engineering Unbound
• overloading or abusing the Service
• using Unbound with malicious intent
• using the AI chat to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content

We may apply usage limits or quotas to prevent abuse. Exceeding limits may require a paid upgrade. Limits may be modified at our discretion.

Subscriptions

Subscription Plans and Billing

Unbound may offer recurring subscription plans (weekly, monthly, yearly).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
Manage or cancel subscriptions via your app store account settings.

Payments and Refunds

All payments and refunds are handled by your app store provider.
A&B Business does not process refunds directly.

Changes to Subscriptions

We may adjust subscription pricing or features at any time.
We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

Data Privacy and Use

A&B Business collects technical data to improve Unbound.
Personal data, including journal entries and chat history, is processed in accordance with privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
By using Unbound, you consent to the processing described in our Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage resolving disputes informally first.
If that fails, disputes may be resolved through arbitration or mediation, unless prohibited by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A&B Business and its officers, employees, directors, and agents from any claims arising from:

• your use of Unbound
• your breach of these Terms
• your violation of third-party rights
• your violation of applicable laws

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Unbound at any time for violations of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
Sections on liability, IP, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
Legal actions must be brought in courts located in [City, Germany] (replace with the correct city for A&B Business), unless otherwise required by your local mandatory law.

General Provisions

Assignment

You may not transfer your rights without permission.
We may transfer ours freely.

Severability

If any provision is invalid, it will be modified to reflect its intent.
The remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
A waiver must be in writing and signed by A&B Business.
